He spoke about the importance of popularizing science and how art, as a bridge, can make profound scientific knowledge warm, vivid, and accessible to everyone; at the same time, he expressed his heartfelt affirmation of Science in Motion ‘s philanthropic mission. The following is the full transcript.
Key points of the video content:
Hello everyone, I’m Sun Lijun from the Beijing Film Academy. I’m an artist who works in both teaching and animation creation. First of all, it’s a great honor to give a brief speech to Science in Motion . Science and art are always complementary, especially animation and film; animation as an art form only came into being after science and technology emerged. When I learned that this team, through creative popular science content, uses a public welfare approach to allow more people who previously had no access to profound scientific knowledge to understand, feel, and enjoy science, I truly felt it was a remarkable thing. On behalf of my colleagues in China, I wish our team continued success in creating more excellent works in their future public welfare activities. Let (science) technology take flight on the wings of art , and let the complex secrets behind scientific research be presented to everyone through video. At the same time, I personally am very willing to join our organization. Welcome everyone to China, to Beijing!
We look forward to the future, under the guidance and participation of Professor Sun Lijun and his team, Science in Motion will present more popular science experimental art works that combine scientific depth with artistic warmth.
